Eniola Fagbemi has issued a public apology after a private video of her circulated widely on social media, sparking controversy and intense public reaction.
In a Facebook post shared on Wednesday, she accepted responsibility and expressed regret over the incident, stating that she fully understands the disappointment it caused.
She wrote that she “owns her mistakes” and offered a sincere apology to anyone affected or let down by the video, adding that she deeply regrets the situation.
Beyond the public backlash, she also revealed that the fallout has severely affected her mental and emotional health. According to her, she has been unable to eat or sleep properly since the video went viral, even saying that sleeping medication has stopped working for her.
She appealed for understanding and forgiveness, stressing that she is overwhelmed and struggling to cope, and urged the public to be considerate of her state of mind.
